Mission and Philosophy

Mission Statement

We strive to provide comprehensive personalized dental care in a fun positive environment where the whole family can come and be comfortable.

We prioritize understanding and empathy towards our patients’ dental conditions that are causing concerns or difficulties in their daily lives. In addition, we are passionate about educating our patients on prevention and practicing oral health every day. Lastly, we want to make sure our patients are aware of those existing dental conditions that could lead to issues down the road.

Philosophy

Our philosophy centers around quality time and attention with our patients. We believe it is important we have the time necessary to get to know our patients and perform high quality care.

Our goal every day is to help each patient feel that we care about them as a person, and make them as comfortable as possible when arriving, receiving dental care and leaving our practice. Each patient that walks through our door is treated like a guest in our home. We do this when we create a friendly welcoming environment. We do this when we ask about their lives, listen to their concerns, their desires. We do this when we make sure they are comfortable and pain free.

There is no dentistry that is designed or functions as well as the brilliant design of the natural teeth we are given. This is why at Palacios Chen Family Dentistry, it is our number one goal each day to help our patients maintain healthy gums and teeth both in our office and at home. Our hygienist provides high quality cleanings that are personalized to the individual needs of each patient. She does everything she can to make cleanings comfortable and spends the time and attention to maintain your oral health. Our doctors and hygienist are passionate about making sure you have the understanding and tools necessary to keep everything healthy and prevent future problems. Please always feel welcome to bring any questions you have for them about your teeth, gums or smile to your appointments.

When concerns do arise, we believe a conservative approach and recommend treatment based on your own dental history and the needs of your overall health and function.
